Touchwood – Melbourne eats

Richmond Road, Melbourne

Richmond Road, Melbourne, is like a cross between Los Angeles and Alexandria, Sydney. Hubs of smart restaurants and lifestyle shops spaced out along  the Richmond strip that goes from the heart of Melbourne city and beyond.

Touchwood was where to go for Saturday breakfast. It was buzzing and friendly. The food is modern organic with roof honey, home-baked fruit bread, chocolate chip muffins and heaps of other goodies, served responsively with  a good floor manager. Limed floors, an art nouveau shop front,  communal or individual tables, either on the street pavement, inside or in a back courtyard. IMG_3080
