Kings Cross Festival 2014

A perfect Spring weekend for the festival. The Art Walk on Saturday led by James Dorahy was a highlight showcasing nine different art venues. They ranged from high-end galleries, such as Michael Reid Gallery who have an international market, to low key, works on paper/bookshops like at The Drawing Room and Alaska Projects in the unlikely venue of Kings Cross Car park. These are all open to explore and visit any time and shows that there is another side to this rich and vibrant, high density community of Kings Cross/Darlinghurst, Sydney.

Other art venues on the walk included: Gallery Mercure, Llankelly Place Mural, The Cross Arts Projects, Minerva.
