Carriageworks, one of Australia’s largest multi-art venues, at the former Everleigh rail yards, Sydney, was the perfect venue for the international art fair from 10- 13th September 2015. Cavernous ceilings and industrial warehouse feel, the Carriageworks,  were filled with exhibits from over 90 galleries. These represented over 14 countries and 4 continents, including from Australia’s major cities. There was a diverse program of talks, videos and performances, installations, the best of local restaurants such as Longrain and an interactive children’s space. This is the second Sydney Contemporary and was combined with Sydney Art Week. It attracted former and new art lovers, buyers and collectors at what is becoming an established event.
